Position / Specialty: Stepdown/MS RN - *Will work charge as needed - Charge experience required**
Shift: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
Ratios: 1:2 for all shifts
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years experience required
First-timers accepted: No
Weekend REQ: Every 3rd weekend, 7a-7p
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. NRP preferred.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float to Med/Surg and various departments as resource help as needed
Open to accommodating block schedule? No.
Locals accepted: No- 100 Mile Radius
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Must be able to function in Charge nurse role.

Work Setting Experience Required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
Cardiac Monitoring Experience required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
Endocrine/Metabolic Experience required: IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin Drips
IV therapy/phlebotomy experience required: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
Patient Diagnoses: CHF, A-Fib with RVR, DKA, ETOH Withdrawal, ARDS, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Surgicals (Ortho, General, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Urology), Delirium
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Central Line Insertion , Cardioversion , ART Line Insertion
Special Equipment: NICOM, Nihon Kohden
