Opportunity:

RN Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of cardiac catheterization lab circulating and documenting experience
• Scrubbing experience is preferred
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), and VA or Compact License
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Provide care for patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist with cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Review patient medical history and allergies, provide patient education regarding procedures
• Administer conscious sedation medication and manage moderate to deep sedation
• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic cases and interventions
• Monitor patients during procedures and continuously monitor hemodynamics
• Hospital-provided scrubs required per facility dress code policy
