Opportunity:

Cath Lab Days

Job Details:

• 4 shifts of 10 hours per day schedule
• 8 to 12 days of call required per month
• Must be available every 4th weekend
• Must have Cath Lab experience and be able to take call for STEMI or Vascular cases
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travel candidates accepted
• Charting system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
• Pending New Mexico or Compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 20 to 30 patients
• Required skills include: Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Catheterizations, Left Heart Catheterization, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, and Right Heart Catheterization
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

This facility is a specialized cardiac care center operating as part of a larger medical center network. The facility is equipped to handle a wide range of cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, and maintains robust interdisciplinary support services. The unit is designed to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a strong emphasis on emergency cardiac response capabilities.
