Planet Healthcare is looking for a PCU RN in the Roanoke, VA area.
Shift: 12 hours, Night Shift, 7P-7A, 36 hours per week

Job Description & Requirements:

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP Pending compliance
• Employment Type: Contract
• 2 years of experience required
• - Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily
  - Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services
  - Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.
  - High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion
  - Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion
• Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
• All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
• Active VA/Compact RN license, AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
