Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patients’ vitals and reactions during procedures, administering medications as necessary.
• Document and update patient records accurately through Epic charting system.
• Respond to emergency situations by initiating appropriate interventions and protocols.
• Assist in maintaining surgical equipment and orderliness in operating room facilities.

Qualifications

• A current RN license valid in Alaska.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience with experience in Trauma Level II.
• Certifications required: BLS. ACLS and CNOR are preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Willingness to take on-call duties for call-offs and work weekend shifts as needed.
• Travel experience required; must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
