Position:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry

Shift Notes:

This position offers shifts starting at 7:00 AM with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend.

Job Description:

As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge to provide and manage care for patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive care to patients in a general medical/surgical setting, particularly those recovering from surgery.
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses, as needed.
• Maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.

Orientation Schedule:

Orientation details will be provided upon hiring.

Certification Requirements:

• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

State License Requirements:

Please ensure you have a valid nursing license for Iowa.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of previous nursing experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Must hold a driver's license.
• Work history/resume is required.
• Skills checklist that has been completed within the past year.
• License verification and a copy of required certifications must be submitted.
• One supervisory reference required at the time of submission.

Important Notes:

Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates within Madison may apply, subject to a rate adjustment.

This role involves engaging with patients who require overnight care post-surgery, within a supportive team atmosphere. Your expertise and commitment to nursing will greatly impact patient outcomes.
