LOCAL VS TRAVEL: TALENT WHO RESIDE LESS THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY WILL BE AT A LOCAL RATE; THE LOCAL RATE IS $10 LESS THAN THE POSTED BILL RATE.
Required experience: Minimum 2 years of similar experience. Interventional competency is required.
Preferred experience: Breast ultrasound competency is preferred.
Certs: Massachusetts State licenses in Radiography and Mammography, (ARRT) in (R) and (M), ARRT (BS) or RDMS (BR) , BLS
Position summary:
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Administrative Director of Technical Operations and Clinical Supervisor of Breast Imaging, the Multimodality Tech provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, supervisor, clinicians, and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a multi-modality technologist in the Breast Imaging section performing Mammography and Breast Ultrasound procedures and exams. Exams and procedures will include both diagnostic and screening examinations; ultrasound and mammographic guided breast interventions and bone densitometry.
