Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Resource Nurse supports high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital’s standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.What you will do in this role:<ul><li>Performs rounds on each nursing unit.</li><li>Observes and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered.</li><li>Identify nursing educational needs.</li><li>Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate. </li><li>Ensure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice. </li></ul> What qualifications you will need:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. ​Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.2+ years as an RN 1+ years experience in a leadership role preferred and 1+ years experience as a preceptor preferred ​Basic Life Support (BLS)  ​Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
