Your primary function is to work with patients throughout the process of achieving their weight-loss goals during the pre and post operational weight–loss surgeries. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.In this role you will:<ul><li>Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.</li><li>Implement and monitor patient care plans.</li><li>Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.</li><li>Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.</li><li>Note and carry out physician orders.</li><li>Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.</li></ul>Job Requirements: <ul><li>Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred</li><li>Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required</li><li>BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required</li><li>CBM Certified Bariatric Nurse preferred</li><li>3+ years Acute Care experience preferred</li><li>2 years of Acute Care experience required</li><li>CBM Certification required within 2 years from date of hire.</li></ul> HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is located in the southern Orlando suburb of Lake Nona, known as Medical City.
