Description
Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4 weeks. Expected patient volume of 8-9 patients per day. Reduced orientation period with 0 non-billable orientation hours.
Highlights:
- Short-term acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation and 104 staffed beds
- Float between acute care, medical, ICU, and 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility units
- Diverse patient population including multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and multiple sclerosis diagnoses
- Collaborative team environment in a regional hospital setting
- Epic charting system with no parking fees
- 13-week travel assignment through October 19, 2026
Requirements:
- Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience (required)
- Inpatient rehabilitation facility experience strongly preferred
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Proficiency in functional activities, assessment, acute and chronic disorder treatment
- Skills in functional splints, static splints, orthoplast, kinesiotaping, and edema massage preferred
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
