Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Amarillo, TX 79106

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Flexible 36 or 48 hour per week options available. Patient ratio 1:6. Weekend coverage required. Contract duration: 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical/Surgical experience
• Recent Epic charting experience (within 6 months) required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Skills required: Isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the area
• Willingness to float to units of equal or lesser acuity
