Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Laramie, WY, is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence in radiation oncology and a deep commitment to meeting the unique needs of oncology patients in a professional and empathetic manner. This role requires a clinician who can work autonomously while maintaining high standards of clinical and ethical accountability.

Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
CREDENTIALS:
→ Must have current, valid Wyoming License as a Radiation Technologist and must be in good standing with the Board.
→ Must have current, valid ARRT registration and must be in good standing with the ARRT and must maintain credential throughout employment
→ Must have current, valid BLS certification and must maintain credential throughout employment.
Clinical Expertise: Mastery of anatomy, physiology, oncologic pathology, and radiation biology.
Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in radiation oncology techniques, treatment planning procedures, and dosimetry.
Patient Care: Demonstrated ability to provide competent and compassionate care tailored to the special needs of oncology patients.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must demonstrate effective listening and a professional attitude both in person and via telephone.
Professionalism: Excellent customer service skills, including tact, patience, and empathy when dealing with patients, staff, and the general public.
Operational Skills: Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities effectively.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work effectively and solve complex problems without immediate supervision.
Ethics & Compliance: Ability to recognize and protect confidential information and demonstrate strict ethical and legal accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
Treatment Delivery: Apply specialized knowledge of radiation oncology techniques and dosimetry to deliver precise treatments according to established plans.
Patient Advocacy: Display consistent competence and concern in meeting the physical and emotional needs of oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
Information Management: Utilize and learn new computer software programs to maintain accurate treatment records and ensure data integrity.
Prioritization: Manage a busy clinical schedule by establishing priorities and utilizing problem-solving skills to ensure efficient patient flow.
Collaboration: Effectively communicate with managers and multidisciplinary staff to ensure a cohesive and safe treatment environment.
