Requirements
- ARRT certification (MRI)
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and nights
- Experience performing MRI procedures and operating GE 1.5T equipment (Discovery 450 preferred)
- Comfortable working independently and following a 1:1 patient ratio
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems
- Adherence to unit dress code (all black scrubs)
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of MRI examinations, producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment (GE 1.5T Discovery 450) while following safety protocols
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and maintain one-to-one patient monitoring during scans
- Document exams and enter results into the EMR accurately and timely
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient throughput on a single-table MRI unit
- Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel MRI Technologist assignment in Fort Pierce, FL beginning 04/30/2026 and ending 07/30/2026. The role covers 36 hours per week on a day shift (07:00–19:30) in an acute care MRI unit that operates 12-hour shifts with a 1:1 patient ratio. The technologist will perform MRI scans using GE 1.5T equipment, manage patient preparation and safety, document procedures in the EMR, and work independently. Required credentials include ARRT and BLS; ACLS is preferred. The position requires flexibility for weekends and night coverage and adherence to unit protocols and dress code.
