Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State RN license
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Recent Operating Room experience strongly preferred; candidates without recent OR experience must complete and pass the six-month Association of Operating Room Nursing Perioperative 101 Education Program
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum one year medical/surgical experience preferred
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and instrumentation for OR/ASU settings
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations with excellent problem-solving abilities
