Schedule: 8-hour days, 0800-1700; 40 hours per week available; approximately 5 visits per day with on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• BLS certification required
• Experience in home health, hospice, and skilled nursing settings required
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-of-life care including after treatment survivorship and cultural awareness
• Strong pain management skills including WHO Analgesic Ladder, breakthrough dosing, medication tolerance, and utilization of pain scales
• Expertise in symptom assessment and management including altered mental status, anorexia/cachexia, constipation/diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, and pressure ulcer staging
• Professional knowledge in goal setting with patients and families, intake assessment, Medicare state regulations, and patient/family education
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
