Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts; every-other-weekend required; floating required to NICU and Pediatric Acute Care units
Highlights:
- Pediatric-focused respiratory care in a Level I or children's hospital environment
- Primary placement in NICU, PICU, or Pediatric units with cross-training opportunities
- Labor & Delivery involvement for those with L&D experience
- Cerner EMR system experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate qualifications
- 13-week assignment with potential for extension
Requirements:
- Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NRP certification required for Labor & Delivery placement (may be obtained after offer)
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years strongly preferred; candidates with Level I adult trauma facility experience may be considered
- Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
