Schedule: 36 or 48 hours guaranteed; every other weekend required; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

High-volume Emergency Department averaging 165-175 patients daily in a 59-bed unit
Stroke and STEMI certified facility with high-acuity, non-trauma patient population
Epic EMR required; must have prior Epic charting experience
Adolescent to geriatric patient population in a large, fast-paced environment
Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
Contract length determines orientation hours; full compliance required prior to start

Requirements:

Active Georgia or Compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of application)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience; previous travel experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
Experience with 1:4 patient ratios in high-acuity settings
Two supervisory references from Manager level or above highly preferred
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Must be available to complete compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing
