Description
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2:1 patient ratios; every other weekend; no call required
Highlights:
- Float pool position with exposure to multiple units throughout the hospital, including Emergency Department
- Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers welcomed
- Consistent 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off available
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact state RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Strong skills in IV management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, dysrhythmia management, arterial and central line care, ventilator patient care, BiPAP/CPAP management, and isolation precautions
- Two supervisory references from Manager level or above
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
