Job Opportunity – Medical ICU (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: May 15, 2026
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) position in a major metropolitan healthcare setting
• Consistent night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts weekly
• Float rotation across ICU units and Emergency Departments for holds
• 13-week contract with extension opportunities up to 18 months
• Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety training
• Pre-start and annual competency modules provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Critical Care/ICU experience (prior to travel nursing)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in Critical Care (charge nurse references accepted)
• Reference must be from within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative drug screen required within 12 months of start date
• Background check with no open cases; no license disciplinary actions
