Location: Stockbridge, Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; typically every other weekend; patient ratio 1:5–6; 32-bed unit

Highlights:

• Overflow Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and medical-surgical patients
• Cardiac drip management required: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, plus diuretics and anticoagulants
• Epic EMR system (preferred), SBAR communication, and telemetry monitoring
• Diverse case mix including arrhythmia management, post-cardiac cath, DKA, surgical overflow, and CHF
• Collaborative environment with full interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract period

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of application)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience; prior travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience managing cardiac drips, insulin drips, anticoagulants, and diuretics
• Competency in telemetry interpretation, arrhythmia management, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, feeding tubes, and port access preferred
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
