Description
Start Date: March 12, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend, 1:4–1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- 16-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in tele/cardiac patients
- Adult and geriatric patient population with strong focus on cardiac and neuro/stroke care
- EPIC EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Remote telemetry unit requiring rhythm interpretation and documentation twice per shift
- 8-hour non-billable orientation provided
- Patient-centered unit culture with emphasis on reliability and clinical excellence
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license (must be current at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Strong proficiency and experience working on Cardiac/Telemetry or Medical-Telemetry units
- EPIC EMR experience (required)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms independently
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred
- Reliable attendance history and strong clinical references
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Completion of Welle or CPI de-escalation training prior to start
