Description
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week with varied start times (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window); no weekends required
Highlights:
- Diverse surgical specialties including retina surgery, total joint replacement, hand surgery, breast oncology and reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic procedures, and podiatry
- 5 operating rooms with average daily census of 18 cases; 1:4 nurse-to-room ratio
- Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system experience
- Flexible shift options to accommodate work-life balance; rare floating required
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience
- Up to 7 days of requested time off available during assignment
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of application)
- Minimum 1 year of intraoperative circulator experience in an OR setting
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting system and general OR procedures
- Experience with varied surgical procedures including orthopedic, ENT, general surgery, and ophthalmic cases
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to complete compliance requirements and be available within 48 hours of contract signing
