Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; patient ratio 1:5-6; typically every other weekend; rare call with 2-hour response time

Highlights:

• 32-bed overflow Intermediate Care Unit with progressive cardiac and medical-surgical patient population
• Manage critical cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, and Nitroglycerin
• Care for diverse diagnoses: cardiac CHF, arrhythmia management, post-cardiac cath, DKA, PE/DVT, renal, pulmonary conditions, and surgical overflow
• Epic EMR system preferred; Pyxis and SBAR communication tools utilized
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract; flexible scheduling within facility needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Demonstrated experience managing and titrating cardiac drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and Insulin drips
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation and management, pre/post cardiac cath care, TR band management, and cardioversion
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, IV starts and maintenance, port access, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
