Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; every other/third weekend required; floating within organization required

• 22-bed progressive care unit specializing in burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgical patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population with average daily census of 20
• Specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• EPIC documentation system with Pyxis medication management
• Teaching hospital environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience required
• Experience with similar patient populations preferred
• Previous charge RN experience and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Core competencies: telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, IV insulin and heparin protocols, wound care/wound vac, and surgical drain management
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or director-level supervisor
