Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) weekdays with every-other-weekend minimum; option to flex to a 4th shift if needed (overtime after 48 hours)

Highlights:

18-bed unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
Labor & Delivery with Mother-Baby cross-training experience required
24 hours of orientation provided
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
13-week assignment with one pre-approved time-off period available

Requirements:

Active RN license in North Carolina (must be at least pending with clear ETA)
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with Mother-Baby background
Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (via AHA), and NRP
AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification preferred
Skills in circulating for C-sections, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and triage of obstetrical patients
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Willingness to float within the hospital as needed
Current NURSYS report required at time of submission
