Description
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, floating within facility may be required
Highlights:
- 19-bed oncology unit with an average daily census of 15 patients
- Comprehensive oncology and hematology case mix including end-of-life care and oncologic emergencies
- Epic EMR system with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off during assignment
- 24 hours of paid orientation with unit-specific module training
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- BLS and OCN certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
- Skills in chemotherapy administration, port management, central line care, and blood product administration
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
