Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation period; patient ratios of 4-5 patients during days, nights, and weekends

Highlights:

• Busy cardiac, surgical, and telemetry unit with a daily census of approximately 28 patients
• Epic EMR system utilized; recent experience within the last 12 months is required
• Float opportunities to other medical/surgical/telemetry units or low-acuity ICU settings
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and pharmacy
• Diverse patient population including post-surgical, cardiac telemetry, and general medical patients
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee nursing license or Compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required; travel experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience within the last 12 months is mandatory and must be documented on your profile
• Competency exam required for Epic; one attempt permitted
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 5:1
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
