Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend rotation; 1:2 ratio for Labor & Delivery, 1:3 ratio for couplets in Postpartum

• Three-bed LDRP unit with two-bed postpartum and one outpatient room
• Comprehensive OB services including labor & delivery, postpartum, newborn care, and OB triage
• EMR systems: TruBridge and Perigen
• Rare float opportunities to ER or ICU to broaden clinical experience
• Professional scrubs allowed; supportive team environment
• Preferred STABLE certification in addition to required credentials

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• 3–5 years of OB nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (STABLE preferred)
• A-1 Fetal Monitoring education
• OB Core Competencies including triage and neonate care
• Must reside 75 miles or more from the facility
• Health clearances: Flu vaccine (exemptions accepted), Rubella titer, Hepatitis B, TB test within one year, and vaccination record
