Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekdays with some weekends. Typically 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, flexing to 1:5 in emergencies. Blocked schedules considered for weekend blocks only (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon).

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with possibility for extension
• Progressive Care/Stepdown unit with 36 beds and average daily census of 34 patients
• Cerner EMR system with 8 hours of orientation provided
• Primarily cardiac patient population including post-cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, plus med/surg patients
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Dress code: burgundy and/or white scrubs

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years total RN experience; 1 year Med/Surg or Telemetry experience AND 2 years Stepdown experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be AHA certified)
• Proficiency in IV starts, cardiac telemetry monitoring, and rhythm strip interpretation
• Permanent address at least 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75-100 miles reviewed case-by-case)
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
