Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation period followed by rotating shifts; every other weekend required; holiday rotation per facility policy; patient ratio 1:6 with average daily census of 29

Highlights:

• 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive skill set including wound care, chest tubes, PICC line management, blood product administration, and high flow nasal cannula
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days requested time off available per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Epic charting experience required
• Charge RN experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, IV starts, PICC line management, feeding tube care, and blood product administration
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
