Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Georgia

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Thomson, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block scheduling; every other weekend; 12-hour shifts with 1:4 patient ratio; approximately 60 patients per day

Highlights:

• Full-service Emergency Department treating all patient ages from neonates to geriatrics
• 14 treatment rooms and 17 beds with average daily volume of 60 patients
• Epic EMR system (required experience); utilizes Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• 24 hours of orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• No call requirements; set block schedules for predictable work-life balance
• Contract length varies (8-19 weeks available); maximum 7 days RTO per contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Demonstrated Epic charting experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience managing 1:4 patient ratios in emergency care settings
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
