As a(an) Apheresis Photopheresis Nurse you can be a part of change.7-10 hr. days, option for 4 10's (rotating day off depending on schedule) Occasional weekend. Flexibility is a must. Responsible for stem cell apheresis collections for bone marrow transplant, other procedures include photopheresis, red blood cell exchange, apheresis collections for research studies for adult and pediatric populations. ***8,000.00 Sign on bonus for qualified candidates. Paid out in 20% payments every 6 months, over the course of 2 years. Serve as role models and clinical resource for the staff. Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues. What you will do in this role: <ul><li>You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records </li><li>You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition. </li><li>You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. </li><li>You will promote hospital customer service initiatives. </li><li>You will utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients. </li><li>You will demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures. </li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:<ul><li>RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state </li><li>BLS from the American Heart Association </li><li>Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration Provider Card w/in 6 months of hire for RNs with six months Oncology experience or 12 months if no Oncology experience. </li><li>Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN )or BMT Certified Nurse, preferred </li><li>BSN preferred. </li></ul>TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
