**Experience and Certifications Required:** - Years of experience required: 3 years - Certifications required: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) - Kansas License (LRT) **Skills and Special Procedures Required:** - Interventional Radiology - Special Procedures - PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) - Knowledge and ability to perform: - Aortography - Chest Tube Placement - Embolization - Gastrostomy Tube Placement - Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement and removal - Inferior vena cavagram - Liver Biopsy - Mesenteric Angiogram - Paracentesis - Pelvic angiography - Percutaneous Hepatic Angiography - Pulmonary arteriography - Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of the liver - Renal Angiography - Selective visceral angiography - Stent placement - Angiography of genitourinary system - Catheter/drain exchange - Internal/external biliary drainage - Nephrostomy - Renal Artery Stent Placement - Ureteral Stent Placement - Uterine Arterial Embolization - Vertebroplasty - Central Venous Access/Port Placement - Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - Accessing/Managing Ports - Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines) - Central Venous Lines- Care and Maintenance - PICC Lines- Care and Maintenance - GE Innova IGS - Equipment set up and maintenance - Prep access site - Room circulator - Scrub- maintain sterile field - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Sterile Technique - Special Equipment: GE machine, EPIC EMR, PACS **Additional Experience and Skills:** - Trauma Level II Experience preferred - Charting System Experience: EPIC required **Additional Requirements:** - Must have Kansas license - Weekday on-call required 1-2 nights/week at SLS; weekend call every 4-6 weekends at SLS/SLE - Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed - The position will also help out in Xray when IR is not busy
