**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - 2 years of experience in Step down or ICU department - Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in the Aya licensure project - Cerner charting experience required - Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Preferred Qualifications:** - CPI certification preferred (not required) - Previous charge experience preferred **Skills and Clinical Experience Required:** - Patient Ratio Experience: 4 - Accessing/Managing Ports, Aneurysms and repair, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration - Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) - Craniotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ER Holding, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretations of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), dysrhythmias - Intracranial bleeds, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Lumbar drains - Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Vasoactive drips - no titration, Management of dysrhythmias - MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Neuro Stepdown, Non-invasive airway management, Ortho trauma - Oxygen Administration, Oxygen tanks, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown - Peripheral Line Care/Management, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Phlebotomy, PICC line management - Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Post TPA care, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Surgery, Hemodialysis Management, Neurosurgery - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Renal failure, Seizure disorders, Sheath Removal, Spinal cord injury - Starting and maintaining IVs, Substance Withdrawal, Surgical drains, Telemetry, Telemetry - on unit monitoring - Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Titration of Insulin drips - Total joint replacement, Tracheostomy care/management, Traction, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) - Traumatic Brain injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac
