As a diagnostic radiology technologist, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You'll perform a variety of imaging procedures, including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy, and emergency imaging, ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images. Your expertise in complying with State and Federal regulations for radiation safety will be valued as you work to maintain the well-being of your patients.
Summary
"Coordinates daily radiology department operations and workflow. Acts as a resource to staff. Accepts assigned duties such as developing work and on-call staffing schedules. Accepts ""in charge"" responsibilities as appropriate. Performs diagnostic radiology imaging including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy and emergency procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety. Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Required to participate in ""on call"" rotation as determined per specific department needs."
