Here is some of what you can expect from being an OR Charge Registered Nurse with us: 

• You will demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspect of the population served in the care of the patients.
• You will accept responsibility for your surgical specialties when functioning in the charge RN role.
• You may rotate to areas other than your assigned service area/s, and you will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
• As an operating room charge nurse you will require specialized skills and/or serve specific age groups, which may include adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
• You will incorporates all of the RN position duties and include the additional responsibilities of directing shift operations with schedules, assignments and coordination of resources. 

What qualifications you will need: 

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. 
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. 
• Minimum of one year as staff nurse Operating Room experience. 
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
