Position: Electrophysiology Tech
Location- Lancaster, PA
Shift: 7:00 am-5:30 pm (schedule can be 8 or 10 hour shifts starting at 7am or 730am)
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Duties:
ARRT and ACLS are required.
Works with a cardiologist to provide cardiac care to patients.
- Operating medical equipment to map a cardiovascular system.
- Preparing patients for procedures or tests.
- Monitors patients electrocardiogram and reports rhythm disturbances to physician.
- Monitors and records intra cardiac and intravascular pressures.
- Utilizes all appropriate equipment and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
- Analyzes hemodynamics and ECGs, removes sheaths, and uses sterile technique to set up the lab. Uses sterile technique by the process of surgically scrubbing in for all cases. Prepares patients for various EP/Cath procedures, and devices. Work is assigned and performed under occasional direction.
- Must have at least 2 years experience as an EP Tech.
