Job Description:

The RN (Registered Nurse) will provide care in a fast-paced ICU unit, catering to a variety of patients including adults and older pediatric patients. The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and collaborating on various patient conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in Med Surg ICU, focusing on critically ill patients.
• Float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU as necessary.
• Manage and titrate drips, including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation.
• Attend Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) and Codes as a charge nurse.
• Read and interpret telemetry readings using Draeger monitors.
• Utilize various RT equipment, from nasal cannula to mechanical ventilation.

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Valid driver's license required at submission to ensure residency outside the 50-mile radius.
• BSN required and license to submit.
• Pass a skill exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Compliance with dress code policies and unit procedures, including prohibitions on artificial nails.
