Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a PRN/PER DIEM Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in working 1 to 2 weekends per month, with the opportunity for a set schedule or additional hours per week, including weekend shifts.

Position Details

• Location: City, State
• Shift: 3-12 hour shifts starting Friday at 6:00 p.m. and ending Monday at 8:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 to 72 hours per month, based on scheduling needs.
• Holidays: Rotating schedule.
• Floating Requirements: No floating required.

Qualifications

• Certification: ARRT (R) required, (CT) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality X-ray and, preferably, CT scans. Familiarity with the following is essential:

• X-Ray operations and protocols.
• Portable X-Ray procedures.
• CT imaging (preferred).

Technical Skills

• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Trubridge.
• Proficiency in Inspire Radiology and SMAART PACS.

Unit Overview

• 20-bed critical access hospital.
• 3 trauma rooms, 1 X-ray room, 1 CT room, and 1 portable X-ray unit.
• Standard staffing ratio includes 1 ER provider for 3 trauma rooms.

Work Environment

The environment is supportive, with a focus on teamwork and high-quality patient care. Staff may wear any color scrubs, and there is a flexible jewelry and body adornment policy.
