Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient
Location: Milton, MA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 03/02/2026
Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Length: 8 Hours

Shift Details:

• Primary hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Some weekday shifts may run 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

• Monday–Friday schedule

• 2 weekend shifts per month required

Facility Overview:

• 100-bed hospital

• Level III Trauma Center

Position Overview:
The Inpatient Physical Therapist provides rehabilitative care to adult patients in an acute care setting. This role requires strong inpatient experience and the ability to manage a diverse medical and surgical caseload.

Patient Population:

• Elective orthopedic patients

• General surgery

• Medical patients

Caseload & Support:

• Average caseload: 10–12 patients per day

• Current staff: 4 PTs, 2 OTs, 2 SLPs, plus multiple per diem PT and SLP staff

• Orientation: 2–3 days

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat inpatient acute care patients

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Document evaluations and treatments in EPIC

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Educate patients and families on mobility and safety

Qualifications:

• Inpatient Physical Therapy experience required

• Active PT license

• EPIC charting experience required

Required Certifications:

• BLS Certification (AHA)
