Job Title:
Registered Nurse – Mental Health (13-Week Contract)

Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a mental health facility in Columbia, SC, for an immediate 13-week assignment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a specialized psychiatric setting, working night shifts with 12-hour hours. Pay Package:
$41-$43 per hour

Required Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid State licensure as an RN
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a mental health or psychiatric setting
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Strong patient care and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience working in a psychiatric or mental health facility
  • Proven ability to handle a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • Must be licensed in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
  • Availability to work night shifts for the duration of the contract
  • Must comply with facility-specific policies and procedures
  • No additional certifications required beyond BLS
