Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Obstetrics (13 Week Contract)

Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week obstetrics assignment in Pecos, TX. This critical role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a hospital setting, supporting women and families through compassionate obstetric services. If you are a skilled RN looking for a rewarding travel assignment, this position provides competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits to support your professional journey.

Pay Package:
$30 per hour plus $1,200 weekly stipend for the duration of the contract.

Required Skills:

  • Valid RN license in Texas (or multistate licensure)
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric nursing experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of obstetric nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and patient care skills with an emphasis on maternal and neonatal care

Other Requirements:

  • Must pass a criminal record check required by state law
  • Availability for 12-hour day shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Travel and housing stipends are provided; some flexibility may be required for shift scheduling
