Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting cardiac, open-heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures and be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating roles within the operating room.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a recognized NCSBN Compact State (candidate must not be a permanent resident of South Carolina if utilizing a compact license)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

• Ability to both scrub and circulate in the operating room

• Recent experience in:

  • Cardiac Surgery

  • Open Heart Procedures

  • Vascular Surgery

  • Endovascular Procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Prior CVOR experience in a high-volume surgical environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and vascular surgical patients

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during complex procedures

• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques

• Monitor patient status throughout surgical interventions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
