Description
Local Candidate Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
- AHA ACLS required
- AHA BLS required
- NIHSS Certification required
- Cerner experience required
Unit & Clinical Details
- Unit is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Unit is covered with call on holidays
- Cases include:
- Thoracic
- Orthopedic
- Neurology
- Vascular
- Urology
- General Surgery
- Higher-acuity cases are performed on this unit
- Unit is overseen by a Charge Nurse and Supervisor
Holiday Requirement
Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
AND 1 minor holiday:
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year’s Eve
