Schedule

  • Night shifts (12 hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Support patients and families with education and emotional care.

Required Education

  • ASN – Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
  • Advanced certifications as appropriate for unit or service (ACLS, NRP, PALS).

Preferred Certifications & Licensure

  • Specialty certification relevant to Emergency Department practice.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
