X-Ray Technologist – Outpatient/Float (Travel Assignment)

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled X-Ray Technologists to join our outpatient radiology team. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, providing diagnostic imaging services to both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Details

• Shift: Day, 5x8-hour (08:00 – 16:30)
• Schedule: Flexible; float as needed to other locations
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

• Locals Accepted: Yes, at a lower rate
• RTO Restrictions: Please limit to 5 days per 13-week contract or keep as minimal as possible

Requirements

• Certifications Required: ARRT R, BLS
• Experience: Demonstrated competency in outpatient imaging procedures
• Skills:
  • Adult and pediatric outpatient imaging
  • Abdomen supine (KUB), chest routine
  • PACS system proficiency
  • Facial bones, orbits, skull, temporomandibular joints
  • Orthopedic imaging: ankle, calcaneus, femur, foot, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, toes
  • Spine and pelvis imaging: cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sacrum/coccyx, hip, pelvis
  • Upper extremity imaging: AC joints, clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, humerus, scapula, shoulder, thumb/finger, wrist
  • Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including PACS systems
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses
• Adhere to infection prevention and isolation protocols
