Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehab (Travel Assignment)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehab travel assignment. This role involves treating neuro and orthopedic patients in a dynamic outpatient setting, with a strong preference for candidates with vestibular training and neuro background.

Key Details

• Shift: Day, 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:00), Monday–Friday
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Local Rules: Candidates residing within 40 miles of the facility will not be considered; driver’s license required for address verification prior to offer acceptance
• RTO Policy: All requests must be submitted with profile; no exceptions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years physical therapy experience
• Outpatient neuro and ortho experience strongly preferred
• Vestibular training/experience preferred
• Certifications Required: BLS
• EMR: Epic proficiency required
• Active North Carolina or multistate PT license required
• Qualivis cover sheet and current NURSYS report must be included with submission

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to neuro and orthopedic patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver vestibular rehabilitation when appropriate
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress
• Document care accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong neuro background with vestibular training
• Prior outpatient rehab travel experience
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
