Doctors Hospital – Evans Emergency FSED | Augusta , GA
Assignment Details
- Specialty: RN – Emergency Department
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: Aug. 17
- Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
- Patient Ratio: 1:4–1:6, acuity-based
- Experience Required: 2 years of ED RN experience
- EMR: Meditech
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Pay Package
- W2 Pay: $25/hour
- Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend: $1,393
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,593/week
About the Unit
Join a brand-new, state-of-the-art Free-Standing Emergency Department built from the ground up with all-new equipment and technology. This 11-bed FSED provides an opportunity to work with a growing team while caring for a wide variety of emergency patients.
What You’ll Do
- Provide emergency care for common ED presentations and trauma patients
- Perform IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and NG tube insertion
- Assist providers with emergency procedures
- Manage and adjust respiratory equipment, including BiPAP and ventilators
- Perform point-of-care (POC) laboratory testing
- Support patient admissions and transfers to the main hospital
- Potentially float to the main Emergency Department based on facility needs
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
