Description
GI Lab Technician (Endoscopy Technician)
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced GI Lab (Endoscopy) Technician to support inpatient and outpatient GI Lab procedures. The technician will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional GI and pulmonary procedures, prepare equipment, maintain sterile technique, and ensure proper endoscope reprocessing and patient safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of GI Lab/Endoscopy Technician experience required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- GTS Certification required.
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient GI Lab procedures.
- Experience assisting with GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:
- ERCP
- SpyGlass
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Navigation Bronchoscopy
