<p>This position offers a schedule of Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is a requirement for on-call duty one night per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM, as well as every other weekend from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.</p>

<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>The ideal candidate will join a fast-paced Operating Room setting. Responsibilities include assisting with various surgical specialties such as General, Ortho, ENT, Plastics, Robotics, and Urology. Candidates must be able to scrub and ideally possess experience with robotic surgery.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>

  <li>Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room setting.</li>
  <li>Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.</li>
  <li>Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 6-bed OR environment.</li>

Registered Nurse - Day Surgery and Preoperative Holding

<h2>Location</h2>
<p>Chattanooga, TN</p>

<h2>Assignment Duration</h2>
<p>This is a 13-week contract position.</p>

<h2>Schedule</h2>
<p>6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; 3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts available. One closing day per week with start times at 5:30 AM unless it is a closing day.</p>

<h2>Job Description</h2>
<p>The Registered Nurse will be responsible for preparing surgical patients for surgery and providing phase 2 recovery care in the Day Surgery and Preop holding units. A focus on teamwork and positive patient experiences is essential.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
  <li>Prepare surgical patients for procedures.</li>
  <li>Provide phase 2 recovery care for surgical patients.</li>
  <li>Utilize cardiac monitors, ultrasound, and EKG machines as part of patient monitoring.</li>
  <li>Assist with procedures such as nerve blocks, arterial lines, and central lines.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure</h2>
<ul>
  <li>IV start skills and moderate sedation experience are required.</li>
  <li>Experience in preoperative holding and phase 2 recovery.</li>
  <li>Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.</li>
</ul>
